This morning Jim had to find a truck repair shop to get a now headlight and windshield wipers. It was on the other side of town and he had to wait so they could take an early lunch break. Don't they understand that we're in a hurry?
On our way to Clovis, it started raining pretty hard. The wiper on the driver's side wasn't working right. Jim had to get out in the rain and use electrical tape to keep it in place. That reminds me of a car I used to have that my dad would fix with hangers to keep it running. Imagination works!
We had a nice sale. Didn't meat anyone we know, but one lady recognized me from when I was on 3ABN TV. That program replayed four times a week, four times a year for a couple years and I think it still showing.
We're actually staying in a motel tonight. Couldn't find a RV Park and it's too far to go to the next town at this time of night. It's still raining. We're in Portales, NM. It has rained so hard that water is standing in the streets - big time deep!
