September 12 Las Cruces, NM

We stayed in a Super 8 motel last night. The bathroom was almost as big as our living space in the truck. But the bed was as hard as a board, so it's all give and take.

Our first sale was in Roswell from 11:00 - 12:00. We had to hussel to get there on time. We met a lady there that knew the Lauterbach's. She went to school with Ross when they were kids. Can you imagine Ross as a kid?

From 4:00 - 5:00 our second sale was in Alamogordo, NM. The pastor there was extra friendly. We enjoyed visiting with him. We both worked with Brenton Bullock at junior camp. Only he worked in Michigan and I worked in Kansas, many years earlier.

After Alamogordo, we drove on to Las Cruces for our sale tomorrow night. What a beautiful drive! Parts of it looked like Kansas - rather flat. In other places it was rolling hills and mountains with pine trees, red, yellow, orange, blue and purple flowers, or cactus and fields of yucca plants. We drove by the White Sands National Memorial, with big white sand dunes for miles There were big fluffy clouds and towards sunset the sky was a crayon box, with color. Wow! I really enjoyed it!
