Count your blessings if you have the ability to take a shower everyday, or whenever you want. The women's shower was closed and locked this morning, so I had to do without. That must be why we had such a bad turnout in Miles City today. We had exactly two customers, the pastor and a lady who was accidently at the church while we were there. They were both nice people and we enjoyed our visit with them.
We drove on to Billings so we will be ready for our sale tomorrow night. We're actually staying in a motel for 2 nights in a row. It's almost becoming a habit to stay in motels on the weekends. That's nice. But nothing has been as enjoyable as the rustic cabin we stayed in, in Rapid City. Now that was wonderful!
We did notice a wonderful thing happen this afternoon. We stopped at Wendy's for lunch. While we were eating, we couldn't help overhearing a man talking to a lady that works there. He was telling her how impressed he was with the cleanliness of the facility. He was very sincere. She was very pleased. For the next twenty minutes you should have seen her work. She was beaming, cleaning and talking to anyone who would listen, telling them how much that meant to her. It would seem that no one ever tells the employees there how good they are doing. It makes you remember what a little word of kindness can do. She will probably never be the same.
