October 3 Loveland, CO

It was a busy day, even before the sale. We took the truck in to have the oil changed. Had to go to a couple places before we found one who could do it. We also needed some work done on the bathroom plumbing. They took it apart, then sent someone to Denver to get the parts. I think that he must have taken his lunch hour while he was out. Finally, we had to tell them to put it together as best they could and we'd come back on Monday to finish it.

We got back to the Academy about 10 minutes before sale time. Luckily we had everything ready. It was a nice sale. People were all waiting in line so patiently and picking out more books while they waited.

We met Ruth Dick and her daughter. They are related to my sister, Martha Dick. Small world.

The GPS is worthless sometimes. We were looking for a RV Park. It took us in a housing development. Then it said 'you have arrived'. When we didn't stop, it kept hollering at us to turn around, go around the block, etc. Somebody must have sold their RV Park and built lots of houses while no one was looking.
