October 30 Ronan, MT

While in Missoula, we took the truck in to have the oil changed. That was the big excitement for the day.

I loved the drive up to Ronan. The mountains are so neat. We're getting close to the southern edge of Glacier National Park. So you know it's pretty here.

The last time we were in Glacier National Park was in 1992. We had 5000 miles on our brand new Honda. Jim hit a bear! The last we saw of that bear, he was limping towards the woods, shaking his fist at us. God is so good! So many things could have been different, with a total different outcome, instead of just memories and a dented fender.

We're in a small campground tonight that's more closed than open. It's for sale. They gave us permission to park in a driveway - free. We don't fit in any of their spaces. There's only a couple other RV's here, and I'm not sure they are occupied. The mountain view from here is awesome.

We had an author come to our sale tonight! She wrote a children's devotional. We have some on the truck, so I had here autograph the books we have. Her name is Cheryl Lynn Woolsey.

There's two other books we carry that my cousin's have authored. Karen Eckright Pires wrote 15 devotinals in the youth devotional, "Elasti-brain". And Andy Nash wrote a Children's book. This is the first in a series. He also wrote "Growing Up Adventist".

And of course we have Dick and Ardis Stenbakken's morning devotional and DVD's too. They're related to my sister, Martha Dick. So they're almost family. Ardis has asked if I would contribute to her next morning devotional book. What an honor and thrill for me.
